The Architectural Enhancement Program is a unique undertaking aimed at providing homeowners with the technical and financial assistance necessary to expand and renovate existing homes. Under this program, the Village commissions architects to develop various detailed options for remodeling an existing home in certain older subdivisions in the community. If a homeowner elects one of these design options, the costs of the architectural drawings and plans are substantially reduced for the property owner so they only pay for customizing the plans to their specific residence and not the full cost of creating the architectural plans from scratch. This program will help residents meet the growing needs of their families while allowing them to remain in the neighborhood of their choice. Such an opportunity is also valuable to the entire community because it assists the Village in enhancing its current housing stock.
