  4. Running O' the Green 8K Run/Walk

    Awards will be given for first, second and third place runners in all age categories, male and female, based on chip timing. An award will also be given to the best overall resident and non-resident male and female runner. Unisex long sleeve tech shirts will be awarded to the first 550 registered participants. Pre-registration closes February 27 at 3:00 p.m. Registration and pre-registration pick up will open again at 7:00 a.m. on race day. Green attire is encouraged! Don’t forget daylight savings time begins on March 8.

    Enjoy a spot o’ tea before heading to the Irish Parade. Located a block off of the parade route, the Vogt Visual Art Center will be decked out for St.Patrick's Day with decorations, music, and traditional Irish goodies like scones, soda bread and an assortment of teas. In addition enjoy the Annual Photography Exhibit that will be on display during the event.

  19. Variety Show Night - "Southland's Got Talent" Contest

This season we’re changing it up...the audience and panel of judges will be awarding prizes to the top 3 contestants, so bring plenty of family and friends. Also, both Kidz on the Bridge and Graffiti on the Fourth Wall Comedy Improv Troupes will be assisting with the contest while performing their own brand of wit and zaniness (they will not be contestants). If you wish to sing, tell jokes, dance, do a monologue, magic, your own improv scenes, etc., this is the stage for you.
