Mallow has a population of about 8,300. It is located
in County Cork, 30 miles north of Cork City. Mallow is served
by rail from Cork(25 Minutes) and Dublin(2 ½ Hours). Bus
transport is available as well. Bus Eireann serves Shannon Airport(2 ¼ Hours).
Mallow is the "Crossroads of Munster" and
the administrative capital of North Cork, Ireland.
Set deep in the Blackwater Valley, Mallow offers
exceptional golf, fishing and hiking. Horse racing is a year
round spectator sport. Mallow's central location offers easy
access to Blarney Castle, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and the
famous Ring of Kerry.
A wide range of accommodations are available. Mallow
has five hotels and more than twelve “B&B”s.
