Fundraising and Donations

The Tinley Park Fire Department participates in several charity endeavors and donation drives.

Donate a Car
Did you know that you can donate your unused vehicle to the Tinley Park Fire Department? Your donation will help teach extrication skills to new firefighters and improve the techniques of experienced firefighters.

The procedure is simple: Bring your unused vehicle to the Tinley Park Training Tower, 7750 W. 183rd St., and place it in the northwest corner of the lot. Unfortunately, we do not have the capability to retrieve/tow the vehicle for you at this time. To complete the process, bring your signed title and car keys to the Tinley Park Fire Department, 17355 S. 68th Court. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. You will receive a letter thanking you for the donation of your car with the year, make and model listed. We do not assign a value to the car.

Thank you for your generosity and keeping us in mind!

'Pass the Boot' for Muscular Dystrophy
The Chicago South Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) teams with Tinley Park firefighters each year during the Pass the Boot Fundraiser, which benefits MDA. This local chapter serves approximately 450 area families and lends its support to those who are stricken with this debilitating disease. Watch for upcoming information on the next fundraising date!
