The mission of the Tinley Park Fire Department is to provide an outstanding level of service by staffing our department with the highest degree of trained professionals who devote duty above personal risk. We are a dedicated group who is constantly seeking improved ways to provide exceptional service to our citizens. The Fire Department advances public safety through its fire prevention, investigation and education programs. The vision of the Tinley Park Fire Department is to be acknowledged by our members and citizens as:

Statue "Tinley Park Firefighters""We Serve Others, Not Ourselves"
The statue "Tinley Park Firefighters" was sculpted by artist A. Joseph Kinkle and is located in Zabrocki Plaza near 173rd Place and Oak Park Avenue. The statue honors the early days of the Tinley Park Fire Department, which was founded in 1901. The base was designed and engraved by Maurice Moore Memorials. Included on the base of this statue are the names of the dedicated firefighters who have carried on this 100-year tradition. Please stop by and see the memorial statue.
