Village Flood Services
In addition to the online Flood Zone Boundary Map (the floodplain map for the Village of Tinley Park), flood maps and flood protection references are available at the Tinley Park Public Library. You may also contact the Planning Department at Village Hall to see if you are in a mapped regulatory floodplain. You can reach the Planning Department by phone at (708) 444-5100.

If requested, the Public Works Department also can visit your property to review its flood problem and explain ways to stop flooding or prevent flood damage. Call the Public Works Department at (708) 444-5500 to schedule an appointment. These services are free. If you are in a floodplain or have had a flood, lot drainage problems, or sewer backups, check out the below sources for assistance. The Village also has numerous informational pamphlets below that can assist in this area.
