Continued Growth and Progress in Tinley Park in 2015 Calendar Year!
Mayor Dave Seaman announced that the Economic Development Program continues to yield great results for Tinley Park.  In 2015, 52 new businesses opened in Tinley Park, 72 new licensed professionals began practice in Tinley Park and more than 1,050 new jobs were created in the Village.   Tinley Park remains the ONLY fully accredited economic development organization in the entire state of Illinois.   More details will be provided in the Economic Report and State of the Village Address at the ECC Business Breakfast on May 4, 2016. 

Zabrocki Wins International Leadership Award

Former Mayor Ed Zabrocki, who retired in June, 2015 after 34 years in office, was honored as International Leader in Public Service by the International Economic Development Council.  This award recognizes One person internationally who has achieved a distinguished public service career promoting successful economic development for at least 10 years.  Zabrocki received this award from his economic development peers at the IEDC Conference in Anchorage, Alaska.

Low Interest Financing Programs Available for Business
The Village of Tinley Park Economic Development Office is anxious to assist growing and expanding businesses in acquiring low interest financing.  Qualified borrowers can save money with special programs offered by the Small Business Administration, Illinois Department of Commerce (DCEO)  and Illinois Finance Authority (IFA).  Additionally, the Illinois State Treasurer and Village of Tinley Park each offer interest-buy-down programs to assist businesses in financing qualifying capital investments.   These are not grant programs.  For more information on low-interest financing opportunities for your expanding business, call 708-444-5030.
