D.A.R.E. Committee

D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a series of classroom lessons led by police officers that teaches children in kindergarten through 12th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive lives free of drugs and violence. The D.A.R.E. curriculum is designed to be taught by police officers, whose training and experience give them the necessary background to answer the sophisticated questions often posed by young students about drugs and crime.

The D.A.R.E. Committee meets at 7:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month from October through April.
