Emergency Text/Email Notifications

Residents can also register to receive emergency text message notifications on their cell phones and/or email accounts. These messages will include important notifications such as police alerts, severe weather warnings and other serious situations as determined by our public safety departments.

To take advantage of this important service, click on the link below to register your cell phone number (cell phone must have text message capabilities) and/or email address. Standard text message charges will be applied by your cell phone carrier.

(This system does not replace the Village's existing City Watch phone system that notifies residents of both non-emergency and emergency situations. Those phone numbers are retrieved from water bill records. If you need to update the phone number you provided when you opened your water bill account to ensure that you receive these important messages, please call the Public Works Department at 708-444-5500.)
