Downtown Tinley Boo Bash
The third annual Downtown Tinley Boo Bash will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Oak Park Avenue train station, 6700 South St., Tinley Park. The event will be great fun for families with young children. The new open format will accommodate our growing crowd, allowing families to move freely about the event. Some of the free activities will include hay rides, a costume contest, trick-or-treating with local businesses, new games, a mad scientist presentation, DJ entertainment and more.

Wizard of Oz Fest volunteer opportunity
Tinley Park is the place to be the first weekend in December when the Village presents a lineup of free holiday events for the whole family. The weekend includes a tree lighting ceremony, the Tinley Toyland Parade, the Parade of Lights, photos with Santa, carriage rides, the popular
Holiday Market and much more!
The annual Tinley Irish Parade is held on the second Sunday in March. Enjoy this family-friendly event along Oak Park Avenue in downtown Tinley Park. Come out and see the many floats, community groups, local schools and businesses. Irish Parade
The annual Discover Tinley Expo in spring showcases the community's business and nonprofit organizations, as well as its government services. The annual Downtown Tinley Bunny Hop is held the Sunday before Easter and features a visit from the Easter Bunny! Bunny Hop
This popular event offers live music on two stages, free activities for the whole family, a mini-Taste of Tinley Park, a classic car show and much more. Attendees can take a free trolley shuttle to the Caribbean Block Party. Rides depart from the 80th Avenue train station beginning at 11:30 a.m.; pick-up and drop-off will be every 15 minutes through 7:30 p.m. Caribbean Block Party

National Night OutJoin the Tinley Park Police Department in this annual, award-winning event held each year in August. Attendees can meet and greet members of Tinley Park’s Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Management Agency and Public Works Department, as well as view the many Village-owned vehicles on display.
This award-winning public art program features benches along downtown Oak Park Avenue that showcase the unique and colorful designs of professional and amateur artists from the area. Be ready to clap your hands and tap your toes! Music in the Plaza concerts are held from 7 to 10 p.m. every other Saturday in Zabrocki Plaza, 17375 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park.
