Tinley Park Television (Tinley TV or TPTV for short) broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week on Comcast Channel 4 and U-Verse Channel 99.

Tinley TV's mission is to provide residents of Tinley Park and surrounding areas with quality local programming that may be of interest to the community to educate, inform and entertain.

Current Tinley TV programming includes:


  • News: This segment runs several times per day and features all of the latest Village news and public information. [Length: 30 minutes]
  • Community Calendar: This segment runs several times per day and includes information on upcoming public events hosted by community organizations and charitable groups that are open to and marketed to the public. [Length: 30 minutes]
  • Village Board Agenda: This segment is comprised of Village Board action items and runs several times per day in the four days leading up to Village Board meetings, which are held the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Tinley Park Village Hall. [Length: 30 minutes]
  • Tinley Park Timeline: This epically awesome program chronicles the history of Tinley Park in chronological order, from prehistoric times to the present day, via bite-sized facts and authentic historical photographs courtesy of the Tinley Park Historical Society and others. [Length: 1 hour]
  • Village Board Meetings: Meetings are recorded in their entirety and then aired on Tinley Park Television and posted on the Village's official YouTube channel within 48 hours of the meeting's conclusion.
  • 'In Touch with Tinley': In this recurring series, the Mayor of Tinley Park sits down one-on-one with Village staff members to discuss various issues related to the operation and implementation of Village government. [Length: 20 to 30 minutes]
  • Pop Quiz: This program tests viewers' knowledge of the Village of Tinley Park. [Total series length: 19 minutes]
  • 'Discover Tinley': This program is hosted by Ron Centanni and highlights Tinley Park groups and organizations. It plays daily at 2 a.m., 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. [Length: 30 minutes]
  • 'Tinley Chamber Spotlight': This program is hosted by Maureen Cipolla and features interviews with local businesses and organizations. It plays daily at 2:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. [Length: 30 minutes] 
  • Public Service Announcements: PSA segments are of varying lengths and contain important information for residents, oftentimes hosted by members of the various Village departments.
  • Other Programming: Tinley TV also is home to other programs such as prerecorded Village events and special addresses by elected officials.

Video Archive
Access the Tinley TV Video Archive to watch content that previously played on the station as well as programming from the Tinley TV vaults, including classic episodes of "Discover Tinley" and Village events from yesteryear.

Submission Guidelines

TPTV will accept video content from middle schools and high schools that serve Tinley Park residents, and also local community groups that host events that are open to and marketed to the public.

Video content submitted to Tinley TV must be in increments of 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Multiple files may be submitted if the footage runs longer than the allotted time. The content should be on a DVD-R or DVD-RW and be completely edited and ready for production. Tinley Park is not held responsible for lost or damaged footage, and will retain copies of submitted DVDs.

The footage also must contain an opening clearly defining what the body of the video is, along with a date. It can be as simple as text on the screen as a title or an on-camera introduction. There should also be a closing giving credit to the creators of the video.

To submit, the content must conform to the TPTV Programming Polices, and a Production Request Form must be filled out and turned in with your content for review. The submitter must be at least 18 years of age or have an adult cosigner when submitting. All footage will be reviewed by TPTV before airing, and the submitter will be informed of the status of their footage prior to the air date defined by TPTV.

Any legal rights that are necessary for production should be secured by the submitter. TPTV is not responsible for obtaining individual rights per submission.

Tinley TV reserves the right to reject any content that is not quality footage in picture or audio, is not suitable for the channels, or does not adhere to the TPTV Programing Policies.
