David G. Seaman has an outstanding record of service to his community and country. He was appointed to the Village Board in 1984 and chaired the Finance and Economic Development Committee before being named in June 2015 to serve the remaining two years of Edward J. Zabrocki's ninth term as Mayor.
Seaman served as the Chief Executive Officer for one of the largest medical groups in the Chicago area, Pronger Smith MedicalCare, a position he held from May 1996 through September 2015. He continues to advise the group on strategic planning matters in a part-time capacity. He has both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant. 
Seaman had a 39-year career in the Illinois Air National Guard that included assignments in the Joint Force Headquarters – IL and the 126th Air Refueling Wing, retiring at the rank of Colonel. 
Seaman’s volunteer efforts include being active with the American Cancer Society, having participated at the national, division and regional levels. He is the 2010 recipient of the American Cancer Society’s St. George National Award in recognition of his contributions to the control of cancer.

Dave and Rosemary Seaman have three adult children, Tony, Rachel and Christopher, and remain active members of St. George Church in Tinley Park.
