Vehicle stickers on sale April 1
The 2018-19 Village of Tinley Park vehicle sticker goes on sale April 1 and features Tinley Park American Legion Post 615, 17423S. 67th Court. Residents have until June 30 to buy and display the stickers on their windshields.
Stickers must be displayed on any motor vehicle operated by a Tinley Park resident on a public street or highway within the Village. Stickers also must be displayed on any motor vehicle that is not in use, but which is kept or stored within the Village. Leased and company-owned vehicles also are included.
Residents age 65 or older are eligible for the senior citizens fee upon presentation of a current driver's license. The Village will accept only one discount per driver's license or state identification.
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans organization. Today, the American Legion is a community service organization which now numbers nearly three million members in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.
