Fire Dept. receives Class 1 ISO rating
The Insurance Services Office (ISO) recently graded the Village of Tinley Park as an ISO Class 1 community, which is the best rating possible and indicates that the Tinley Park Fire Department is well-equipped to handle fire emergencies.The rating not only took into account the readiness of the Tinley Park Fire Department, but also that of the Village’s Water Department and 911 Communication Center.
“I’d like to thank the entire Village Board and Village Administration for investing in the Fire Department, which allowed us to achieve this goal,” Tinley Park Fire Chief Steve Klotz said.
Tinley Park is one of only 22 fire departments in Illinois that enjoy a Class 1 rating.
