Fire Department Special Event Request

The Tinley Park Fire Department will, upon written request of date, time and contact numbers, schedule a tour or appearance at your event. Please make requests at least 10 days in advance. Tours will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. The Fire Department will do what it can to accommodate your event. NOTE: Please choose the type of event you are interested in and fill out that portion of the form.

Station Tour:


Tours of Fire Station No. 46 (17355 S. 68th Court) are scheduled on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. When attending a fire station tour, attendees will understand fire safety, tour the 911 dispatch center, tour where firefighters live while on duty, see and touch firefighter gear, go inside a fire truck, and learn about an ambulance. The tour will last approximately 35 minutes. The fire station has equipment and tools that can cause serious injury. It is important to follow the directions given to you by the firefighters. The adult chaperones are responsible for assisting the firefighters in keeping the safety of the children the number one priority.   Due to change of shift crews, no tours can take place between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
