All bags are subject to be searched. Please refrain from bringing these items:

  • Weapons
  • Scooters
  • Bicycles
  • Roller skates/blades/skateboards
  • Cannabis
  • Large coolers
  • Large bags
  • Glass
  • Drones
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Firearms/explosives (Including those possessed by Concealed Carry license holders)
  • No smoking or vaping

Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct, which event staff will actively enforce. Misconduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Illegal, irresponsible, or unsafe use of alcohol and other substances
  • Obscene or offensive gestures, including through imagery, symbolism, banners, signs, or other visuals deemed offensive
  • Unwelcome sexual attention, advances, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature
  • Fighting and other actions that may harm, endanger, threaten, or bring discomfort to people or personal property
  • Creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment, including taunting, physical or verbal advances, remarks, bullying, offensive jokes, harassing, taking or sharing sexually explicit pictures, intimidation, or stalking
  • Distracting, interacting with, or in any way interfering with a service animal
  • Accessing restricted areas without proper credentials

Youth Supervision Policy

The Village of Tinley Park is committed to ensuring guests enjoy a safe, pleasant, and family friendly festival environment through enforcement of the Youth Supervision Policy, as outlined below.

  • A parent or adult age 21 or older must always accompany guests age 17 and younger.
  • Supervising adults will need to show proof of age and will be asked to leave the property if they cannot.
  • Proper identification includes a state-issued driver’s license or ID card, a passport, or a military ID. Identification must include a photograph and date of birth and be tamper-proof.
  • One adult may accompany as many as three youths.
  • Supervising adults are responsible for the actions of the youth they accompany and must ensure they are following the festival’s Code of Conduct.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of inclement weather or forecasted inclement weather that would delay opening, pause, or cancel the Caribbean Block Party event, the Village will publish a notice on Facebook via the Tinley Park Life Amplified, Village of Tinley Park Public Safety, and Village of Tinley Park Illinois Government, as well as at TinleyPark.org and VisitTinleyPark.com.
