Tinley Park’s Citizen Survey, facilitated by the National Research Center, was mailed to 1,700 randomly selected households in July 2019 and provides the opinions of a representative sample of 487 Village residents. Data was collected through Sept. 11, 2019. The margin of error is 4% for all respondents. Data is compared against results of surveys from more than 600 communities across the country and are noted as being higher, lower or similar to the benchmark.
An opt-in survey (available to anyone) was open to the community in August. To make sure opinions are relevant, data is weighted based on the U.S. Census. These results are reported in the “Supplemental Online Survey Results.”
