Farmers Market held Saturday mornings

Visit the Tinley Park Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays this summer in the north parking lot of the Oak Park Avenue train station for all your fresh food needs. All vendors will accept cash, and most will also take credit.

In order to provide the same great Farmers Market experience for shoppers while still keeping safety in mind, there are new procedures in place to protect shoppers and vendors from potential exposure to COVID-19, including:

  • There is only one way in and one way out of the market, with a limited number of people allowed in the event area.
  • The market includes only essential items such as produce, prepared food, soap and masks.
  • Event staff have set up social distancing markers by the entrance and in front of each vendor tent to make sure people stay at least six feet away from each other.
  • All items are pre-packaged. Customers are unable to enter a vendor tent or touch products until they are paid for.
  • Customers are unable to consume food in the event perimeter.
  • There are no portable restrooms available for customers.
  • No dogs are allowed in the event perimeter.
  • Everyone is required to wear a face covering while in the event area, including the line to get in.
  • Vendors will not hand cash back.
The Village will work with R Market to continue to evaluate the event and will make changes on a monthly basis if needed.
