Severe Weather Guide available

In celebration of Severe Weather Preparedness Week, the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and the National Weather Service have developed a Severe Weather Preparedness Guide to help people prepare for potentially dangerous weather.

The guide will help people understand weather risks such as floods, tornadoes, severe thunderstorms and lightning, and provides tips for staying safe at home and in the car.
