Memorial Day Ceremony May 30
The Village of Tinley Park and the Tinley Park Veterans Commission will host the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday, May 30 at the Gen. Patrick E. Rea Veterans Plaza, which sits adjacent to the 80th Avenue train station at 18001 S. 80th Ave., Tinley Park.
Come out for patriotic music, short speeches, a wreath-laying ceremony and a gun salute. The event will be livestreamed on the Village's Facebook page for those who are unable to attend in person.
Also, Village Hall will be closed all day in honor of Memorial Day. Normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, May 31.
