The Village utilizes the CodeRED community notification system to send time-sensitive emergency alerts and critical information to Village staff, residents and businesses. The system also sends non-emergency information such as road closures and trash collection schedule changes. Notification is customized, allowing residents to choose which alerts they’d like to sign up for and how they would prefer to receive them.
Residents can choose several different methods, including landline, cell phone, email, text message, TTY or a combination of any of the above. Sign up for the Village’s CodeRED community notification system by texting the word TINLEY to 99411 and receive a direct link to the enrollment form on your mobile device. Residents can also take advantage of the CodeRED Mobile Alert app, which is available to anyone with a mobile device, on the App Store or Google Play. Please note that if you signed up for City Watch, you will have to sign up again for CodeRED. If you have any questions about your account, please call (866) 533-6935 or email email@example.com.
Residential Registration Feature
CodeRED’s Residential Registration Feature is a new enhancement to the CodeRED Community Notification Enrollment (CNE) page that allows residents to enroll using their login credentials from Google, Facebook or Twitter. The new CNE Single Sign-On (SSO) feature streamlines the registration process and makes it easier for residents to access their account to make changes later. Please note that this update will not affect current registrations; only new registrations will have this option.
Tinley Park Messenger
The Tinley Park Messenger is a phone-based news delivery service. Phone calls containing short summaries of top news across the village go out about every two weeks to those on the call list. If you would like to begin receiving calls from the Tinley Park Messenger, just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call (708) 444-5024 and leave your name and phone number, and we’ll add you to our call list!

Tinley Park Television (Tinley TV or TPTV for short) broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week on Comcast Channel 4 and U-Verse Channel 99.
The Village offers eNotify, a service that allows residents to sign up for notifications whenever selected pages on the website are updated with new information. Available pages include special events, employment opportunities, current projects, Life Amplified and the music calendar. Other pages may become available in the future based on need. To participate, visit the eNotify page and provide your email address. After signing in, users can click on any of the available pages to receive update notifications via email and/or text. Please note that to receive notifications via text, you’ll have to provide a valid cell phone number with texting capabilities. After selecting which alerts to receive, you’ll be sent a confirmation email and/or text message. Simply respond as instructed and you’re set up! Please note that the notification will only inform you that a page has been updated and will not provide specifics.
