The Illinois Pension Code requires the Village of Tinley Park to post certain employer cost and participation information on its website. The Employer Cost and Participation Reports are made available pursuant to Public Act 97-0609, which is an amendment to the Open Meetings Act that requires employers participating in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund to post total compensation packages for certain employees.

In accordance with the Illinois Public Act 102-0265, the Village of Tinley Park is required to make a good-faith effort to collect and publish certain demographic information provided by our vendors and subcontractors. The Village is now required to report whether the vendor or subcontractor is a minority, women or veteran-owned business as defined by Illinois law. In addition, the Village is required to disclose if the business is certified as a small business under Small Business Administration standards. This information is being collected for reporting purposes only. The Village is asking its vendors to provide current business information.
 
The Tinley Park Village Board meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Village Hall, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, IL 60477. Village Board meetings, along with Committee of the Whole and Plan Commission meetings, are streamed live on the Village's official YouTube channel. Viewers can check the channel five to 10 minutes before the start of the meeting and then click on that meeting’s video icon to begin watching the live stream.
