Ostrom named Building Official

The Village Board named James Ostrom as Building Official during its Feb. 18 meeting at Village Hall.

James earned an M.B.A. in management from the University of St. Francis, and a Bachelor of Science degree in construction technology from Purdue University Northwest. Previously, James worked in Aurora as a building inspector and code compliance officer. He also has extensive experience in construction planning, design, management, scheduling and/or estimating with Riverside Healthcare, Michuda Construction and other organizations.

James also holds ICC certifications for residential building inspector, commercial building inspector and residential plans examiner. Welcome to the Tinley family, James!
